Job Description

My client is a highly profitable leading transportation provider that was founded in 1979. They provide logistic solutions throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico specializing Domestic and cross border services (FTL, LTL, Refrigerated, Oversized, Intermodal, Flatbed, Step Deck, Expedited and Warehousing services).


Salary:

  • Base $65k – 80k Canadian + 8% commission + accelerators
  • Equipment is paid for, monthly cell phone reimbursement, travel covered, and mileage reimbursement per mile.


Location: In office or remote WFH - Must be located anywhere on the east coast - preferably Toronto!

Responsibilities:

  • Developing new accounts that grow the companies market share and profitability to sell various modes of transportation directly to customers.
  • Maintaining accounts for repeat business.
  • Identify, and develop new leads through referrals and cold calls.
  • No territorial boundaries - Can sell anywhere throughout US, Canada and Mexico, and into any industry/ vertical.


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of logistics experience selling FTL (Full Truck Load).
  • Experience selling TL, LTL, Intermodal, Specialized oversized loads, and warehousing.
  • Hunter mentality.
  • Must currently work in a 3PL environment.
  • Established book of business preferred in order to leverage your start for a faster ramp up .
