At present we have an exciting opportunity for a Sr RF Engineer - Network Performance based in Markham, ON, Canada.  This position is a 6 month renewable contract.

Huawei Technologies Vison is through communication.  This is achieved with keen focus on our customers' market challenges and needs, providing excellent communication network solutions and services in order to consistently create maximum value for customers.  Huawei Canada is seeking professionals as Senior RF Engineer - Network Optimization (LTE) to join our growing team!

Job description:

• Responsible for RF planning and optimization of LTE networks
• Responsible for overall RF plan, technical support work, including plan of coverage/capacity/frequency plan/cell neighbor relationship and simulation, creating and submitting RF planning solution to meet customer's needs.
• Responsible for all RF optimization technical support work, knowledge on how to use DT data post process/stat. data analysis/signaling tracing/system parameter optimization and OSS KPI analysis to make RF optimization solution and follow up implementation to improve network quality improvement.
• Responsible for RF team building and leadership throughout deployment of the project.
• Ensuring smooth communication and high levels of satisfaction with customer at a regional level.
• Responsible for facilitating internal workshops and training.
• Familiar with Huawei products and tools. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor or Master Degree with a major in communication/computer technology/ electrical or related.
• 5+ years of deep understanding of communication technology theory and 5+ years RF plan and optimization experience, including 3+ years in LTE RF 

• Fluent communication skills in English
• Previous experience in a RF technical support or team leadership capacity is preferred.
