Job Description

Job Title: Risk Analyst - Expert

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 10+ Months

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Lead identification, assessment and treatment recommendations for IT & Operational risks
  • Contribute to the review of new and changed Clients IT policies & standards and identify impact on Finance IT applications and processes
  • Review the E&IA Control Function Dashboard (CFD) and address Finance IT risk issues arising
  • Contribute to the delivery of the IT & Operational risk awareness program
  • Support Director of IT & Ops risk in ensuring that information is provided to Audit in a timely manner
  • Support the delivery of Finance IT’s Enhanced Compliance Program (ECP), a major internal IT-driven initiative to ensure compliance with current and emerging IT policy & standards, but completing assigned tasks and assisting with prioritization

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge in IT and operational risk management processes, methods and tools
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure & software security architectures
  • Working technical knowledge and experience covering the operating systems (e.g. Unix, Windows, zOS) and database systems (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2) in use in Finance IT
  • Familiarity of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT
  • CRISC (nice to have)
  • CISSP (nice to have)
