Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst – Capital Market/Regulatory

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 6+ Months

Position Purpose: This role specifically reports into the Management Consulting function, within the Capital Markets Project Management Office (PMO). Responsible for researching, developing and implementing business growth initiatives, competitive analysis





Job Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline (Required)
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration – would be an asset
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a consulting firm (Required)
  • Capital markets experience and/or in-depth capital markets knowledge – would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Trade and Transaction reporting for Derivative products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver well-structured business documentation and deliver client presentations (Required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate cross-functionally and cross culturally (Required)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in team environment (Required)
  • Negotiation, consensus building, and conflict resolution experience and skills, including timely issue escalation as appropriate (Required)
  • Advanced knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and change management (Required)
  • Expert user proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft PowerPoint (Required)
