Job Summary and Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the President/CEO of The Schroer Group, the Altercare President will serve as chief liaison between the organization and The Schroer Group. Ensure all facilities and programs of the organization are administered in accordance with internal policies, procedures, and philosophy, and with applicable laws, rules, regulations and standards of accrediting and/or licensing bodies and corporate compliance policies. Ensure the continuity and/or development of a sound fiscal management plan. Work with senior management on annual budget process and include them on all strategic and tactical planning activities. Oversee hiring, organizing and development of staff resources to accomplish organizational goals. Support Executive Directors in their roles as Administrators. Develop, implement, review and update long and short range strategic plans to support the organizational growth in harmony with the company mission and philosophy. Report to the Board in the manner and at times established by the Board concerning overall operations and program care and services rendered. Serve as a liaison between the organization and the community and the organization and governmental agencies. Represent the organization and ensure the organization has a favorable and effective public image.
Job RequirementsBachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree is preferred Prior executive leadership experience in related field Successful track record of achieving results, setting proper expectations, and having governance in place. He/she will have proven success navigating relationships with boards, residents, and employees. An ideal candidate would be a humble leader who leads with compassion towards their employee and residents. An ideal candidate is a strategic visionary with senior living experience who is excited about the opportunity to grow a successful organization.
