What youll do As a Technical Writer, you will create documentation for deploying, administering, and using complex analytical software products. You'll also design documents and document collections for target audiences, as well as develop illustrations and examples in a range of complexities, from simple programming techniques through complex business applications. You will: Writes clear, accurate and concise documentation, following SAS writing guideline. Documentation includes usage,deployment, and administration guides, online Help, embedded user assistance, UI messages/text, and videos. Documents complex technical subjects in ways that are easy to understand and which maximize usability by target personas. Develops effective illustrations and other visual aids to clarify complex topics. Demonstrates domain/technical knowledge of assigned products/markets. Works closely and effectively with product development teams (including software developers, marketing strategists, and technical support analysts) or professional services implementation teams (including project managers, solution architects, and technical consultants) to gather needed inputs, communicate status to all stakeholders and manager, and produce deliverables that meet targets for quality and timeliness. Manages projects to meet targets for quality and timeliness. May lead writing project teams.?
