Job Description IT Network and Helpdesk Specialist The IT Specialist position will function primarily as an independent extension of the AF Seek Eagle Office Information Technology team. The duties for this position will be primarily located at Edwards AFB, however support will be to the AF Seek Eagle Office at Eglin AFB, Florida. The IT Specialist will manage network and data infrastructure at Edwards AFB that serves as a data backup for critical AF data. This position will be part of planning and implementation for eventual warm-site capability for the Seek Eagle Analysis Engineering Research and Development Enclave (SEARDE). The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate via email and phone as well as the ability to work and problem solve independently are critical. This position will require a candidate with proven IT experience with evidence of familiarity with quality and software development processes. Must be able to work directly with contractor and Government personnel in a mixed badge environment to accomplish Air Force IT and Software objectives. This position operates as part of the Seek Eagle Operating Location (OL) located at Edwards AFB.
