Our people care about their community, their team and the results we create every day What You'll Do: We're looking to add a Materials Manager to our Supply Chain team who will assist in the following: Monitor, forecast, plan and schedule multiple production lines Assist in the development and implementation of short- and long-range plans relating to production planning/scheduling activities Monitor Open Order report for order confirmation, changes and expected shipping dates Ensure accurate and timely raw material inventories by working closely with the purchasing and warehousing department Manage aged inventory to ensure inventory reduction and minimize loss The Materials Manager is extremely important to us. We will rely on you to Interface with Sales, R&D, manufacturing and more to ensure that sales requirements are achieved. As a team member you will monitor the following aspects that will need to be considered in preparing Production Schedule: sales forecasts, production costs & capacity, inventory costs, customer orders, inventory levels and historical run rates. You'll have the opportunity to drive success by developing and implimenting processes to eliminate excessive inventories and improve efficiency through the schedule process. What You'll Need: To get the most of this role at Kerry you’ll need to come with knowledge as a Materials Manager with the ability to influence up, and we’d prefer if you had supply chain experience. You’ll also meet these minimum requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from an accredited college or university. APICS certification is a plus but not required. We prefer 3 to 5 year’s experience as a Materials Manager. This location has a diverse workforce, and being bilingual in Spanish would be beneficial, but is not required. Not a fit for the requirements but love what you see?
